Redwillow Outfitting Inc. is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Larry and Angela Schmitt. Larry and Angela started this business in the early 1990's and along with their four children have expanded and built it to its current operation of a base farm camp and 2 log cabins with propane heat, and a remote camp with 3 log cabins, a bag shower house/wood-heated steam room, and wood burning stoves. Our family has followed in Larry's footsteps as he grew up trapping and hunting this vast wilderness area. You will feel confident and safe knowing that when you hunt with us, our knowledge and skill of the area will be hard to beat. Our professionally trained guides will also add to the quality of hunt you can expect from us.

We are located in the east-central part of the province near Carrot River, Saskatchewan. Our hunting area is in the Pasquia Hills, one of the most game-rich wilderness areas in the province. The hills are forested with a mix of hardwood and softwoods such as aspen, willow, pine, spruce and birch and the woods are full of small creeks, muskeg and meadows. With this terrain, travel with All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's) is necessary and we maintain a line of recent, well-maintained models for reliable transportation to your treestands.

The weather is moderate during our Spring Black Bear hunts, and will range from 32-60 degrees (Fahrenheit).  At nights it gets very chilly and can dip to below freezing.  During the October/November Whitetail Deer hunts the range will be  0-32 degrees (Fahrenheit), with the late November winter conditions occasionally getting as cold as -10 to -15 degrees.  We provide you with a detailed packing list to prepare you for the weather conditions at the time of your hunt.

Our treestands are comprised of ladder stands, surround stands, and for those who can climb a little higher,  lock-on stands. Some of the stands are partially covered to break the windchill during the whitetail hunt and we also have "Canadian Cocoons" or mummy bags to help ward off the cold during more extreme weather.

We will cater to your particular needs, whether you are bringing a youth hunter, require a special diet, or have non-hunting companions. We want you to have lasting memories of your Saskatchewan wilderness hunting experience with us.
